A lost diamond

So recently, I was driving to school and while stopped at a stoplight, I glanced down at my wedding ring to find the diamond gone. Just missing! I flipped out. It was a Wednesday morning, and just the night before I was sitting in my 2 1/2 hour Philosophy class admiring the ring that Geoff gave me when he proposed. The next morning it was gone! So in a mess of tears I called up Geoffery at work and told him of my unfortunate discovery. He, being a sweetheart, told me not to worry about it and that he would take care of everything. This past weekend, we went to St. George where the ring was purchased. We brought it back to the store and we were told that they could cover up to a 1/3 karat diamond. Mine was more than that. So we could either take the free 1/3 karat, or pay the difference of my original, which is what we ended up doing. We were in St. George less than 24 hours because of our work schedules up North. It was a short and expensive trip, but we are happy we did it! I feel so weird not wearing my ring so Geoff lent me his wedding ring to wear until mine is finished. We are still missing the original diamond, but we are still looking for it. You never know what the Lord has in store for you, and this could be his way to bless us with a few extra bucks. But I can't wait to get my ring back!
